Abstract

This paper discuses localization, one of the most important concepts in commutative algebra. A process by which new rings are constructed. The nature of the resulting new ring depends on that of a multiplicative subset of the given ring. This paper also focuses on the extension of the ring of integers Z to that of rational numbers Q that is embedding the integers into the rational numbers. Some results are stated in this paper.
